“Perfectly positioned for exploring Manchester, this hotel struck me as a blend of historic charm and practical comfort. The bar is a definite draw, especially with its cocktail deals. From what I gather, the rooms vary in size, so it's worth checking options, but overall, this seems like a solid base for a city break, particularly if you value location and character.”

wonderful room in a great location

modern interior historic feel central location
i found the room to be really lovely. the building has an historic feel, yet the interior was quite modern, i think it had a refresh. its central location, adjacent to the arndale and the tram stop, was convenient. a charming pub and beer garden located downstairs proved good for a few visits.
i noticed the door frame in the bathroom seemed improperly fitted. additionally, paint looked to be peeling from the wall close to the shower.
Rooms
9/10
the room featured comfortable beds and a modern interior, including updated fixtures (like the lamps and mirrors). despite its modern updates, the room maintained its historic building's character with vintage details. the room size was adequate for our needs.

Acceptable stay overall

convenient location many restaurants friendly staff faulty window small room small bathroom
The location of the hotel was really convenient. It was close to many restaurants and shops. The staff was also friendly (especially Liam).
The window in my room seemed faulty. I almost had an injury trying to close it. The room and bathroom were both very small. There was barely enough room to move around.
